Nick joined Altair in 2014 and is an English qualified lawyer with over 20 years’ experience in the international financial services industry, having previously worked in an in-house legal capacity for leading corporate and trust service providers in the Isle of Man and the Cayman Islands and for the alternative fund services division of a major international bank in Jersey, covering fund administration, depositary and custody services.
Nick has extensive experience of acting on boards of alternative investment funds, including private equity, venture capital, debt, hedge, listed and aircraft leasing, and other corporate vehicles. He has multi-jurisdictional experience, including board positions on Jersey, Cayman and Luxembourg funds with good working knowledge of AIFMD. His primary contribution to boards is in the following areas: corporate governance, legal, risk & compliance and regulatory.
