Ian co-founded Altair in 2012 having previously been the CEO of a 600+ people independent fund administrator which was acquired by a global bank. Ian has over 30 years’ experience working within the financial services industry in Jersey, initially as a Chartered Accountant at a Big4 firm and then providing administration and directorship services to a wide range of alternative investment funds.
Strategic and entrepreneurial, Ian specialises in acting on the boards of private equity, venture capital and private equity real estate funds having worked with some of the leading European firms since the late 1990’s. He has a particular interest in the funds’ investment activities.
