Declan joined Altair as CFO in September 2018. He is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years commercial experience. Declan moved to Jersey in 1986, joining Coopers & Lybrand for 6 years prior to moving to the commercial sector. Prior to joining Altair, he spent the previous 10 years as Finance Director of The Liberation Group, the Jersey based pub/restaurant/brewery operator, and was a key member of the management team that formed the business (backed by LGV Capital) in 2008 through a management buyout from Sandpiper CI, building the business until its disposal to Caledonia Investments plc in 2016. Previous experience includes senior Finance and Company Secretary roles at the previously listed businesses, Ann Street Group and CI Traders.
